DIY Butterfly Place Cards

Are you having dinner guests over this summer and would like to impress them with thier own personalized place card at the table?

Here is an adorable DIY Butterly Place Card project to make for your next dinner party!

I was inspired to make these when I saw this butterfly place card tutorial at the Eddie Ross website....isn't his tablescape gorgeous?

Eddie Ross is a decorating and entertaining designer.  He has worked at Martha Stewart Living and at House Beautiful...in other words he is super talented and creative!!

For my version I cut out one butterfly from white cardstock and glued on another butterfly I had made from pewter-grey scrapbook paper....to coordinate with my Dwell Studio tablecloth!

I also made this version with the blue and brown script scrapbook paper I had left over from my DIY Sunburst Mirror project:

Go to Martha Stewart Weddings for a detailed tutorial and Butterfly Template:

Aren't these adorable!  I just used a pencil to write my name on this one, so they can be reused, but you could use a marker or a pen.

These would also look great using vintage maps or even dictionary pages!

These are very quick to make.....try it for yourself and surprise your family/guests at your next dinner gathering!

Thank you SO much for coming by for a visit! I love to hear all of your comments!

Don't miss a post! It's easy to stay in touch with me!:
