Do you enjoy giving new life to thrifted furniture finds and pieces that you’ve owned for a few years that need a style update? I do! I love to save money by updating pieces I already own or scoring thriftstore and antique stores for items that I can love and refresh to mix with the newer items I own and my other DIY’s to create a layered collected look to my home.
I’ve got a few furniture paint makeovers planned to do over the next few weeks – a bedroom dresser and table and chair set. Today I’ve rounded up some of my past favorite DIY furniture makeovers and builds.
7 DIY Furniture Makeovers and Builds:
This is hands down my favorite furniture piece we built! I combined two Restoration Hardware table designs to make this one of a kind X base with lag bolts DIY Restoration Farmhouse Table:
This was an ingenious idea my hubby had: DIY Adirondack Chairs
A little TV table gets a navy and gold update: DIY Dipped Chevron Table
A Goodwill find with a simple coat of white:Painted Bench Makeover
A grey stripe on a white base perks up this dated and scratched end table. DIY Chalky Finish Table with Strip Border
A damaged oval table gets a white refreshed look and a pretty stencil detail. Chalk Painted Side Table with Greek Key Stencil

I love these! I’ve pinned them for later. My husband and I are very big into thrift store finds that we can turn into beautiful projects. On our current agenda is repainting and putting new knobs on our dressers and fixing up a thrift store find that we plan to use as an end table.
Stopping by from Monday Funday!
