Love the Siverplate and Green Colors. Makes me want to redecorate. Thanks for all your tips.
Beautiful Heather!! I really like the laundry room photo! That would be my dream! Thanks for sharing these! Not sure if I will be using gray since I have a sand and aqua nautical vibe in my home. But I think it is beautiful here!
I love your colors Babette!! You’re welcome – I’m glad you enjoyed my post! It’s always fun to look at paint colors isn’t it?
I’ve recently started researching some grays for a room refresh, and I think Silverplate just might go on my list! I love the neutral tone and it will coordinate nicely with a variety of accent colors. Love it!
I’m so glad you love this color too Regi!! Thanks for visiting today!
Love the marble paint in the bathroom. Have been thinking about doing something like this & you have given me the incentive to start . Thank you .
Love this color & the way it’s different with different lighting!
I was looking for the perfect Gray and you just found it for me! Thank you so much. I love reading your blog daily6.
Since blue is my favorite color, I would love to combine it with this shade of grey on the walls. It’s just so soothing to me.
I’m so happy to see that grey is still in the forefront of colours. It’s so versatile and gorgeous in any backdrop.
Thanks Josie! I agree!
Gray is my staple, my go-to. And as you’ve shown here it goes so well with a myriad of colors, themes, …
I do love it with the blue!! It is definitely peaceful and comfortable -a requirement for any Living Space 😉
I have been interested in Silverplate too! I didn’t see any dark brown furniture in the photos, does it look ok with brown do you know? Also is Silverplate too dark in a room without a lot of natural light?
You’d have to try a sample of it in your space to see what it will look like with your lighting and furniture. Thanks for visiting Jess!
Thanks for the inspiration. We’re planning on painting our entire rental home this color. I’m wondering what white you would use for trim and kitchen cabinets to go well with this wall color.
I love the silverpłate color — can you tell me what the laundry flooring is that goes so well with that color?
Hi Debbie – I don’t know what flooring they used. I’m glad you love this color!
Hi Heather,
I’m just wondering if you might know of darker accent colors that would go with Silverplate? Thanks for your post and info!
Best wishes,
Kim
Hi! I’m not sure if you mean paint colors or decor colors but take a look at Ellie Gray 7650, Peppercorn 7674, Mount Etna 7625 and Gale Force 7605. Navy, charcoal gray, black, deep green and dark plum will go beautifully for darker decor accents!
Would mahogany or cherry wood stain go with the silverplate paint color? If not how strictly necessary is it to match the stair handrail to the color of the front door in your opinion?
It depends on other fixed finishes in the room and your upholstery colors ect. plus I’d have to see the rooms. You can email me about my online color and design services – I’d love to help!
Bought a home recently that has Silverplate kitchen cabinets. Since it is a fairly reflective color, be sure to test it in a home before applying it to the walls. Ours can have a pinkish tone if the shades are open with light bouncing off of things in the room and the paint, as well. Difficult to find a paint that is compatible in the adjacent dining room other than gray.
Thank you so much for sharing your experience with Sherwin Williams Silverplate! I always recommend to test paint colors in the space at different times of the day because paint colors will behave so differently in a space… depending on the fixed elements in the space, natural lighting ect. I so appreciate your comment and sharing your experience with this color!
