Fall Mantel Decor Ideas

Today I’m sharing my Fall Mantel Decor Ideas!

I’m so excited to have started decorating my home for autumn this past week. My favorite area to decorate in my home is my mantel!

How to Decorate Your Mantel For Fall!

I added birch bark, glam crystal and mercury glass for a mix of rustic and glam.

The color palette I went with this year combines neutral white, taupe, silver, grey, dark rich plum with a pop of rusty orange.

I love the shimmer and shine of my mercury glass pumpkins and candlesticks, glitter birch candles and crystal votives!

The deep plum and rusty orange colors highlight the glimmer of the metallics:

I used my hubby’s pewter military mug filled with dried oak leaves as the starting point to my mantel.

Two of my favorite mercury glass candlesticks holding birch bark candles flank the faceted mirror.

Next, I added two mercury glass pumpkins – aren’t they gorgeous? I’m so glad I bought these last year! I love their patina – they are such a pretty way to decorate for the season!

I layered in real dried oak leaves I’ve collected over the years (just pressed flat in between books and dried naturally!) with rusty orange oak leaves I bought at the craft store.

I added a few of  my DIY Pottery Barn page scrolls:

Fall Vibes and Accents

White beans make the perfect natural Autumn vase filler for these candle votive holders and are super inexpensive! I also used this easy vase filler for last year’s Sparkle and Shine Fall Mantel.

I added a few deep orange mums mixed with dark purple foliage from our backyard….

…some mini pumpkins glammed up in silver rub-n-buff are popped in here and there to finish off the decor.

I love lighting the candles..and sitting in my cozy chair by the fireplace with a cup of pumpkin coffee for a quiet moment!

Wishing you and your family a wonderful Fall!
