How to Make Faux Coral, Inspired by Pottery Barn!

1. Aquarium Plastic Coral Decor
Tutorial Instructions:
Apply two coats of white primer spray paint to the plastic coral. Let dry completely between coats. Add another coat if needed.
Can you believe just how easy it is to take a blue plastic coral accent for an aquarium and turn it into stylish decor for the home?
I put a couple on my summer mantel – I love adding sea inspired decor to my home for summer!
It looks beautiful paired with mercury glass candle holders, lagoon blue candles, rope balls and star fish accents:
Styling Tips: You can also add these DIY Coral items to a shelf, console table, add them to tops of candlesticks or add a few to a basket like these Pottery Barn inspiration shots show:

Ok Heather – this is brilliant!! Especially since coral is so expensive and if you are lucky enough to spot some on the beach, you really should’t remove it. I have 10 minutes today I am doing this!!
