Hello friends! Today I’m joining a talented group of 14 decor bloggers in a Fall Porch blog hop and I’m sharing my Cozy, Rustic Fall Porch Decor!
Each year I love to design a new look for our fall porch and this year I decorated with a cream, black, copper and gold color palette and mixed in some autumn metallics, cozy textiles and of course iconic autumn pumpkins, mums and fall foliage!
So let’s take a look at my cozy, rustic fall porch design! All decor sources are listed at the end of the post so you can copy this look on your front porch.
Cozy Rustic Fall Porch Decor
Welcome to our Fall Porch!
The pillars at the front of our steps are the perfect place to display two classic black urns filled with beautiful white mums! These are super simple DIY fall planters – all I did was buy two potted mums and prettied up their boring brown containers by popping them in black resin urns, like these, that I use year after year!
I think they give our home so much pretty fall curb appeal!
Shawn and I love sitting in these wicker chairs in the evening to watch the beautiful sunsets we get here…..and I love sitting out here with my morning coffee too, just to take a breath before starting my day!
Here’s a look at my Fall Porch design this year: tall planters filled with birch and curly willow flank our front door (SW Weathervane is the color, check out all of my Paint Colors In My Home !)
I whipped up a simple DIY refresh for my metallic fall wreath this year to give it a whole new look!
After I hung the wreath, I wrapped a fall leaf garland that I spray painted with this gorgeous copper spray paint around the outside of the wreath -super easy!
This additional leafy garland makes our wreath look so much bigger and lush – I love it.
I love the beaded pumpkins, twiggy branches, metallic gourds and leaves in this wreath. It adds a layer of rustic-glam sparkle and shine to our front porch.
Can we just take a moment to talk about these throw pillows??? I picked them up at HomeSense/HomeGoods this year and I’m crazy about them!
I just love the brass metal accents on the pillow flange and the gorgeous botanical flower pattern in gold and cream. They make my heart pitter patter!
Here’s a closer look at these gorgeous pillows.
Design tip: Adding new pillows will instantly give your space a whole new look without spending tons of money. You can also create a whole room color palette from the colors in your pillows – see the 60-30-10 color rule for more information on how to do that!
These black urns filled with white birch poles and curly willow are two of my favorite things on our porch.
We added spotlights on timers in them so they turn on at dusk and give such a magical glow to our porch at night!
Take a peek at my Fall lanterns – they were an easy DIY decor project! I added some acorns, mini faux pumpkins and fall leaves around the flameless candle for a Fall harvest look.

Mums are my favorite Fall flower! My favorite mum color is white with yellow centers….they look so elegant in the black urns!
