I have an awkward wall space in the hallway that’s in between our kitchen and laundry room. It’s not very wide but needed a punch of color and pattern. I also needed a place to hang my monthly printable calendar since I don’t have wall space in my kitchen to hang it….. so I came up with this idea for an easy gallery wall of framed botanical fern printables and included my framed printable calendar too!

Well, this fern gallery wall isn’t exactly ‘flowers or pots’ but it does relate to plants! I’ve been anxious to tell you all about this decorating project I finished last month…so here we go!
How to Make a Gallery Wall Of Botanical Prints
Here’s my DIY art gallery wall with my calendar! Isn’t it pretty? I love how it fills this narrow wall perfectly and LOVE these free botanical fern prints!

I printed out these gorgeous free fern prints using this photo paper and framed them in high gloss white picture frames (these frames are similar).
Then I framed four of the fern prints and my printable calendar and hung them in a vertical row!
I just eyeballed the middle of the wall and hung them using command picture hanging strips (I LOVE these strips for hanging all my frames!)
This is a super quick and easy decorating project.
Here’s another look from our kitchen – now my calendar is within easy sight and I have a gorgeous botanical gallery wall to look at!
I might change these fern prints to something else come fall….you know I love changing up my decor with the seasons!
You could also create this photo gallery using family photos!

I would love to do these, but I went to the original site, and you have to have some sort of large, professional printer…they are 11 X 14″ prints! Can you do 8×10?
heather says
Hi Lisa – yes you can do 8 x 10 – just resize with your printer settings! 🙂

I have the same type of narrow space beside my front door. This has inspired me to do something similar. Thank you
