How do you put a battery operated candle on a timer?

Hi Debbi – they are the type of battery operated candles that have a built in timer function on the switch on the bottom. When you turn them on using the timer function they stay lit for 6 or 7 hours – so I just turn them on at dusk and they remain lit for that amount of time and then automatically turn off. They automatically turn on every night! I hope that helps!

    Hi Heather!

Could you please tell me the maker and color of your front door in the image on Curb Appeal Ideas and Porch Decor Tips?

    Thank you so much!

How do you secure the items in the black planters? You said a light is at the bottom of the pot. When you added the artificial fern, do you not have to use foam blocks to secure everything? My front porch can be windy (not protected from the elements). Thank you!

Hi Karen – I have a bit of potting soil in the bottom of the planters that secure the artificial fern branches and that holds the light in place. Hope that helps! 🙂

They were from Ikea – I believe they are discontinued.
