Elegant White & Gold Thanksgiving Table Setting
1. Have a starting point:
Pick one item as your starting point. Choose a gorgeous vase, a fabulous set of placemats, stunning napkins or a ‘wow’ centerpiece.
This will be your first item to build the rest of your table decor from!
The kick off to my Thanksgiving table this year are these stunning glam natural leaf placemats! They are so beautiful, very affordable and have a slight gold shimmer to them. They make my white dishes pop!

2. Flowers and Greenery
Add a flower arrangement or two or a grouping of eucalyptus or fall leafy branches down the middle of the table. Flowers and greenery give your Thanksgiving table gorgeous texture and color!
Use real flowers or a fabulous faux floral arrangement like this gorgeous everlasting White Sedum and Sunflower arrangement that I shared in my How To Style And Decorate With Artificial Plants and Flowers post.
I made these gorgeous flower arrangements using grocery store flowers and plants and leaves from my front flower beds. This is super simple to create.
I used yellow pin cushion flowers, terra cotta colored Alstroemeria white mini carnations (all from my grocery store) coral bells leaves and flowers and beautiful gray-green dusty miller.
Lastly I added a few faux grass stems.
I love how quick and easy this pretty fall flower arrangement is to put together and the colors are perfect for a Thanksgiving table!
3. Napkins and Napkin Rings
Add a pretty set of cloth napkins to your table! There’s nothing like cloth napkins to make your friends and family feel special during the holidays!
These elegant white pumpkin and leaf napkin rings will turn any basic white napkin into a total show stopper!
4. Repeat the Metallic Finish of Your Flatware in other parts of your table decor.
If your flatware is silver, add a silver vase or votive!
I love my hammered gold flatware and repeated the gold color in my tablescape by adding these glimmery gold pumpkins (fake $ store pumpkins spray painted with my favorite gold spray paint!) and gold votive holders.
5. Set the scene for an elegant white and gold thanksgiving table:
Having a buffet, console table or bar cart in your dining room is a great way to add storage and serving space for Thanksgiving!
With all those big platters of turkey, stuffing and vegetables, plus other sides and desserts, it doesn’t take long for the dining table to get cluttered.
If you don’t have a buffet, add a console table or bar cart to keep all of those platters, bowls, wine and drinks handy during the meal.
Plus they are fun to decorate when not serving big meals!
Before your big dinner prepare a bar cart, console or buffet top. Remove as much decor as possible to make space for the dinner platters and bowls.
Add a pitcher of water and a few extra serving spoons to keep on standby during the meal!
