Easy DIY Fall Wreath Basket Decorating Idea – see the tutorial on how to make this wreath basket with faux lambs ears and a DIY book page garland! Add it to your front door or decorate an empty corner of your home for autumn.

This year I’m determined to decorate my home for Fall quickly and easily! Who has time to decorate for weeks on end? Not me! Here’s a quick and easy Fall Wreath Basket that you can hang on a door or decorate that empty corner you have (we all have one don’t we?)

Easy DIY Fall Wreath Basket Decorating Idea - see the tutorial on how to make it with faux lambs ears and a DIY book page garland! Add it to your front door or decorate an empty corner of your home for autumn.

EASY DIY Fall Basket Wreath with Book Page Garland

Here’s how I put it together:

– First I dug out this handled wicker basket that I’ve had forever.

– I added some faux lamb’s ear stems (love their blue-green color) and some wheat stalks in behind.

– Then I looped a DIY hemp cord and dictionary page oak leaf garland around the front of the basket.

– To make the DIY oak leaf garland print out two images of oak leaves in different shapes/sizes and trace their outlines onto a few dictionary pages or book pages. Cut out the leaves and attach to 2 feet ofhemp cord with a dab of hot glue.

That’s it – done! See? Quick and easy!

It’s a simple fall touch, but loaded with texture.

I hope you enjoyed this DIY Fall Basket decor idea! Have you been busy decorating for Fall?

Heather, I love the Lambs Ears! Do you mind sharing where you found these? I have looked over and over at my craft stores and nothing close to yours in the basket.

    Thank you, thank you!

Hi Kelly! I bought them at Michaels – I think they were just in the stores for fall, I’m not sure if they still have them but you could check! 🙂
