Since then it’s been a popular color for kitchen cabinets, living rooms, dining rooms, powder rooms, bedrooms, dens and home offices!
I love this neutral smokey brown, sophisticated and rich color!
My favorite colors are neutrals…. and this is such a stunning neutral brown.
It’s timeless and can look contemporary or classic, fitting all design styles: modern, traditional, minimalist, transitional, farmhouse, coastal and more.
It’s warmer than black and pairs beautifully with whites, grays, greens and amber hues.

Urbane Bronze is actually a dark brown-gray, that has a slight bronze-brown undertone to it.
It is in the same color family (and on the same paint strip) as Worldly Gray SW 7043 and Amazing Gray SW 7044, two popular greige paint colors.

What is the LRV of Sherwin Williams Urbane Bronze?
Sherwin Williams Urbane Bronze has an LRV of 8.
LRV, or Light Reflectance Value, measures the percentage of light a paint color reflects.
It’s a number to assign how light or dark a paint color looks on a scale of 0 (black) to 100 (white).
The higher the LRV number is, the lighter the color is.
The lower the LRV number is – the darker the color is.
So an LRV or 8 means that SW Urbane Bronze is a dark color that doesn’t reflect much light.
You can still use it however, in a dark room such as a den or basement movie theater room to create a cozy, moody feeling.

Painiting the outside of my home. Shutters and coloumns will be Urbane Bronze. Could my exterior house color be Origami white?
Do you have any favorite curtains from the pictures above you could link that coordinate well with the urbane bronze?
I would go with white or a oatmeal color for drapes.
Struggling with this (gorgeous) urban bronze choice for master bath. It is currently a taupe color with a matching color sunken tub. Will this color work with a taupe colored tub? I cannot change tub. Any suggestions. Tired of taupe. Many thanks

Hi Heather~ I am in the process of painting our home. I am wanting to change the appearance to a more updated look. I love my brick so not painting it but changing my dormers from a tan to White Duck by Sherwin Williams but thinking of using Urbane Bronze on my shutters. I am stumped on what color to paint garage doors and inside of my garage floor and exterior doors in garage.
I know that seems kinda of crazy but I see a lot of green in the colors above urbane bronze. I am not good at change. I flip houses for a living but this is my personal home and I have to live with my choice.

We are painting our walls, accent walls Oyster and all others and trim white shadow (already the paint color) We want to paint our cabinets and are leaning towards Balanced Beige with the island cabinets a darker color. Would you suggest grizzle gray, black fox or this Urbane Bronze?

Hello Heather – I painted my media room Peppercorn with the exception of one wall that the tv is on. The media room consist of a brown leather sofa recliner and two green chairs. What are some color suggestions that you would recommend. Please help
