Even though we don’t have any guests visiting us this holiday due to the pandemic, I do love decorating our guest bedroom!
Our guest bed room is a view I look at every day since it’s at the end of the hall opposite our master bedroom, so I look at it every morning when I wake up!
I just love the cheery glow of the birch tree and the calm, serene blue and white accents for Christmas!

1. Christmas Accent Pillows
The first touch of Christmas I added to our guest bedroom is this gorgeous Christmas lumbar pillow that has “I’m Dreaming of a White Christmas” embroidered on it! It’s so fun and festive especially with the pom pom trim!
I’m a firm believer in using textiles to create style in a room, so that’s where I started!
Paired with these stunning blue and white antelope print pillows, this holiday accent pillow looks so gorgeous!
The gray embroidery ties in with this soft beautiful gray and white area rug too!
I’m loving how the blue and white antelope print pillows repeat the blue in the wall art, the navy blue in the duvet cover and the blues in the Christmas ornaments I scattered around the room!
I didn’t use the same shade of blue when decorating our guest bedroom! I used navy, indigo blue and light blue in this space. Using different shades of an accent color creates a more interesting, layered designer look.

2. Garland or Christmas Stems for the Headboard
I added 3 Christmas stems to the top of the headboard for another elegant festive touch!
You could also add a garland.
I love the pop of greenery and the shimmery metallic finish of the silver ornaments on the top of the headboard!
3. Faux Fur Throw Blanket
Add coziness and texture with a faux fur blanket! Draped on the end of the bed or on a chair, faux fur throws create such a warm ambiance at Christmas! Plus it will transition your bedroom through the winter!

4. Nightstand Decor
I’m still loving our white table lamps! They give off such a beautiful amount of light for reading at night and the pop of white on the base and drum shade adds a fresh look.
I added a cream bottle brush Christmas tree and a beautiful ginger jar filled with white faux peonies and pine to the nightstand for a wink of holiday style.

5. Elegant Christmas Bedroom Decor: APre-Lit Birch Tree or Slim Christmas Tree
Now for the holiday glow! Christmas is the season of lights so add some to your bedroom with a pre-lit birch tree or slim Christmas tree!
Tucked in a corner it will add such a gorgeous twinkle and cozy holiday feeling!
I added a few silver, white and blue ornaments and glass icicle ornaments to my birch tree to layer in color, texture and more holiday style.
The blue ornaments repeat the blue in the wall art and duvet cover creating a cohesive look!
Design tip: Repeat your accent color at least three times in a space to make it look intentional and to create a pulled together, cohesive look in a room.

6. Dresser Decor
Adding a few blue and white ornaments with some pine stems and another cream bottle brush Christmas tree is a quick and easy way to decorate a dresser for the holidays!
This is such a quick and easy Christmas bedroom decor idea!
I also keep some magazines and a box of travel sized shampoo, conditioner, toothpaste and toothbrushes in the dresser in case guests forget these items!

6. Tray
I picked up this round silver tray at HomeSense a few weeks ago – I love how the silver shimmers!
I added a vase filled with white faux hydrangea and pine, a white ceramic Christmas tree, some coasters and some more ornaments.

I didn’t buy holiday bedding for our guest bedroom because I honestly love white sheets, white quilt and this blue duvet cover with white border for this blue and white holiday look!
