Summer Front Porch Decor Ideas
I had so much fun decorating our front porch for summer this year!
Beautiful curb appeal is so important to me! It not only adds value to our home but it also increases our enjoyment of our home too.
I just love pulling into our driveway and seeing the welcoming look of our front porch!
And we love sitting in these chairs with a cocktail to watch the stunning sunsets we get here… or a cup of coffee in the morning to watch the bees and butterflies buzz about.
Adding flowers and greenery, new outdoor pillows and an oversized boxwood wreath breathed a timeless summer vibe to my summer front porch.
This year I decided to go with a green, black and cream color palette for our entryway and use white and green flowers and greenery! I am in love with these colors!
( See my Green and Neutral Dining Room Inspiration Design Board – green is a trend color for this fall! )
I love this oversized faux boxwood wreath – it’s perfect for Spring too so I get lots of use out of it!
See my front door color here!
I added faux fern stems to my birch and curly willow planters – simple yet beautiful!
We have spotlights in these urns that turn on at dusk (they are on timers)….they give such a pretty glow at night!
I’ve linked up the lighting supplies we used below!
My black lanterns are filled with white river rock and outdoor candles on timers that also come on at dusk.
I’m loving these easy DIY outdoor pillow covers that I made this year!
The Ikat print and white, cream and black colors really tie in with the rest of my front porch colors.
I added a couple of white begonias in fun geometric pots…. again so simple!
These planters on our walkway pillars are one of my all time favorite planters!
I filled black urns with white petunias, lime green potato vine, vinca vine and this pretty deep plum trailing flower.
Aren’t they pretty?
I planted these white coneflowers in our front flower bed – the bees and butterflies love them!
They are a beautiful flowering plant that’s easy to grow and drought tolerant!
