Spring is one of my favorite times of the year!
The melting of snow, chirping birds, flowers popping up from their winter sleep…
Now is the time I can open the windows, put away the winter blankets and throws and…
decorate my mantle for spring!
My spring mantle starts off with this large, faceted Homesense mirror- it really makes a beautiful focal point to the room! These mercury glass votives and candlesticks make the green accents pop!
There’s my hub’s pewter mug again – filled with dried boxwood from my yard. Crystal votives add sparkle and my Moss Balls (these are so easy to make!) add some spring texture:
Flowers are always a great element to add to your mantle décor.
Yellow tulips with some branches from my yard:
These large faux topiary spheres add another touch of spring greenery and I love their texture too!
When decorating a mantle I love to have some of the accents placed in front of the others to add some depth; this topiary sphere sits in front of the candlestick and vase of flowers:
Here’s a project on my to-do list: Paint the fireplace surround white!
Hmm….what should I do with the beige tile?? Opinions please!!
Did you enjoy these mantle decorating ideas for spring? Would you add any of these pieces to your mantle décor? Please leave me a comment!

ReplyDeleteWhat a happy mantle Heather!
ReplyDeleteLove your mantel! This is TOTALLY wacky, but I recently saw someone had a mirrored area where your tile is on the fireplace. I'm not sure how they did it, but I know you can cut mirrors to size so perhaps you could cut mirrors to fit. It would look totally glam with the white painted trim, and I know you like some sparkle!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the tips Carrie - that sounds like it might be very pretty and yes I love my sparkle ;)
DeleteLove your mantel~ how beautiful!!
