I hope everyone had a great weekend!
We drove our son to Royal Military College this weekend and watched him ‘March Under the Arch’!
‘The Arch’ is a large stone arch on the campus, that was built to commemorate all of the officer cadets from the college that died in World War II – today each officer cadet marches under it when they enter the college and they march under it when they graduate and leave the college…it’s a way for them to honor the memories of the young men and women that sacrificed their lives and died in the War. It brought tears to my eyes to watch him do that – I’m one proud mama!!
Needless to say I miss him already!! Sniff!!
