To make the beginning of this school year get off on a healthy start for our youngest son, I’ve come up with a new fun and delicious after school snack idea for him!

So that when he comes home after a day of classes he can refuel , sit down with me and chat about his day.

I serve these crunchy snacks in mason jars for fun and garnish them with sliced fruit on a party toothpick!

I make up several of these at a time and keep them in my refrigerator so that when my son comes home we can sit down at the kitchen table and chat and munch away!

Make this healthy snack with:

  • fresh vegetables such as green and yellow beans, pea pods, carrot sticks and grape tomatoes
  • fruit pieces such as strawberries and melon
  • Mason jars
  • Party toothpicks
