In this post I’m sharing how to decorate a Holiday Welcome Entryway!

I love having friends over at Christmastime!

Especially welcoming them with a cheery entryway.

Welcome to my home!

We just moved here this past July so this is our first Christmas here…. I’ve had so much fun decorating for the holidays!

I put red spot lights in my urns:

Red twinkly lights in the front cedar:

I filled these urns with pine, cedar, birch limbs, curly willow and pomegranates:

I hung pine garland around the doorframe and added some silver sparkly branches from Michaels and silver pinecone ornaments:

    1. The red spot lights and twinkle lights do add a pretty glow at night Shauna! Thanks for your sweet comments!

  1. Your Christmas porch is a real delight Heather! You’ve done a gorgeous job decorating it. What a wonderful area to get to work with too. My porch is currently being hammered with hail as I type. I don’t do much with it in the Winter. LOL! So I really enjoyed gazing at yours :)))

    1. Thanks Shannon for your sweet comments! Stay out of the hail and inside your cozy, beautifully decorated home!!

  2. Looks fabulous. I am so glad I found your blog. I am not a confident decorator and I am using your blog as inspiration! Thanks 😉 My decor therapist!

    1. Wow Shannon – your words here just blew me away! Thank you for the sweet compliments! It really touches me that you are using my blog for inspiration!! If you would like some tips on the steps I used to build the urns or the garland over the door(or anything else you would like help with!) let me know…. email me – I’d love to help!! I’ve helped out other’s with decorating tips, like a friend with her kitchen wall color…I suggested Benjamin Moore’s Wyeth blue to go with her sandy beige flooring and countertop- she loves the change! I really love to help people make their homes a cozy nest, it’s so important to live in a homey pretty space and I firmly believe you don’t need to spend piles of money doing it!!!
      Have a wonderful day!

  3. Heather…red and white are my favorites for Christmas and I am loving your entry! Those urns are absolutely the best!! Nice job!

  4. Hi Heather,
