I found some fall gourds, pumpkins and artichokes at our local farmer’s market – I added them to the center of the table around the big vase of wheat. There’s my DIY Faux zinc oak leaf and acorn garland on top of our china cabinet!
I threw a couple of sheepskins over a couple of our dining chairs to add some fall coziness:
Now let’s go outside to our backyard! We use our hot tub a lot – especially now that the evenings are getting really brisk!
These Adirondack chairs that we made last year have been used a lot this summer. We love to sit outside by our fire pit and make s’mores with our boys!
Thanks so much for stopping by today – I hope you enjoyed my fall home tour!
I hope you and your family have a wonderful fall!

Elicia says
Heather,
I just went through all of the SW colors and could not find a Weathervane. We’re having a house built and I’ve had your post saved since before we ever imagined we’d be leaving our forever home of 19yrs. Our front door and garage door colors are all we have left to choose and I knew I wanted them this color. I’m not sure what to tell them though. Any advice? Has the color name changed?
I hope our porch will look as good as yours some day. Thank you for any help you may be able to provide.

Hi ELicia! Congrats on your new home – how exciting! I’m so happy you found inspiration from our front door color Weathervane – it’s a gorgeous color! Here it is on the Sherwin Williams website – hope this info helps! It’s SW 2927. https://www.sherwin-williams.com/homeowners/color/find-and-explore-colors/paint-colors-by-family/SW2927#/2927/?s=details&p=PS0 I think if you take these numbers to your SW store they should be able to mix it: R: 44 G: 32 B: 26 Hex Value: #2c201a LRV: 0 Good luck!
Cheryl says
I absolutely love the color of your front door! Could you please tell me the name of the color? Thanks
heather says
Hi Cheryl it’s SW Weathervane – I hope that helps!! It’s a gorgeous rich brown color 🙂
Kaitlyn says
Gorgeous home! Do you happen to know the color of the siding on your porch? I love the neutral color and how it compliments the door color.
heather says
Hi Kaitlyn – I don’t know the brand name or brand color but it’s a beige with a green undertone! Hope that helps!
