We had a huge snowstorm this weekend – it’s a winter wonderland here!
…so I added some winter to my front door too!
DIY Winter Wreath
Winter Entryway:
Close up of DIY Chunky Yarn Snowflake:
I saw this chalkboard printable at aka design blog and thought it would be perfect for a wreath idea!
I especially love this phrase: “Winter is the Time for Home”
Supplies to Make a Winter Wreath
Twig wreath – Michaels
White Picture Frame – Dollar Store
Chalkboard "Winter is The Time for Home" Printable
White Ribbon
Nylon Fishing Line
4 x DIY Chunky Yarn Snowflakes
(I made these with toothpicks instead of bamboo skewers)
Tutorial:
Secure DIY Chunky Yarn Snowflakes onto wreath with nylon fishing line. I added mine at 3 off center points on the wreath.
Frame the chalkboard printable. Thread white ribbon through the back clip of the frame and secure to the hook on the door. Let the frame sit on the front of the wreath.
That’s it – You are done!

Winter Urn:
At night!
I placed white uplights in the urns to give our entryway a pretty glow at night!
Have you used these chalkboard printables in your home?
