This delicious crunchy Chocolate Toffee Bark Candy recipe is a quick and easy to make food gift and Santa snack idea! Saltines spread with a boiled butter and brown sugar sauce, then topped with chocolate is downright addictive. Easy to make with just 4 ingredients!
Every Christmas it’s a tradition for me to make at least one yummy Christmas candy recipe – because Santa loves candy right? 😉 This recipe is a family favorite year after year.

Chocolate Toffee Bark Candy recipe – great food gift and Santa snack idea!
Chocolate Toffee Bark Candy
Ingredients
- 50 unsalted crackers
- 1 cup unsalted butter
- 1 cup packed brown sugar
- 6 oz semisweet or milk chocolate chips
Instructions
- Arrange crackers on a parchment lined cookie sheet to cover surface. Be sure to use Parchment Paper NOT Waxed Paper!!!
- In saucepan bring butter and sugar to a rolling boil over medium heat stirring constantly.
- Pour over crackers.
- Back at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 10-15 minutes until browned and bubbling.
- Remove form oven.
- Sprinkle on the chocolate chips.
- Let stand 5 minutes and run fork through chocolate to decorate if desired.
- Cool.
- Refrigerate for 30 minutes and break into pieces to serve.

I really wanted this to turn out well, but I had no idea there was a difference between parchment paper and wax. I used wax and it wouldn’t come off of the paper. Had to throw out the entire batch. 🙁 Live and learn.
