Hello everyone!
Last night my husband and I took our 2 boys to see the movie “The Adventures of Tintin” in 3D and it was terrific!
The Adventures of Tintin |
If you are not familiar with the movie, it is based on a comic book series that was created by Belgian artist Georges Remi (1907–1983), who wrote under the pen name of Herge. The series is one of the most popular European comics of the 20th century, with translations published in more than 50 languages and more than 200 million copies of the books have been sold. The popularity of this comic books series stems from the settings (Egypt and China, for example) and the swashbuckling adventures with well written plots.

The animated movie was packed with adventure and humour. It stars the main character, a boy named Tintin who is a reporter, and his loyal dog Snowy.

Snowy – isn’t he adorable!! |

To solve a mystery, Tintin and Snowy search for clues to find a lost treasure and one man’s lost family legacy.
And WOW!!! The graphics and animation were A.MAZ.ING. But would you expect anything less from the fantastic director Mr. Spielberg? I have just one question for you Mr. Spielberg? What can’t you do???? We could actually see the pores on the skin of the characters, the individual hairs on their heads and the action scenes were so fun to watch (especially in 3D!!).
So if you are looking for something fun to do with the kids this Christmas holiday – I suggest you go see “The Adventures of Tintin” and let them discover (or redicosver) a fantastic series of comic books which combine adventure and mystery.
Have a great day!
Heather
