Have you been to a fabric store recently? I love walking through the isles and seeing all those bolts of home decor fabrics lined up row upon row begging to be touched and transformed into curtains, pillows or whatever you can dream of!
I found a beautiful autumn patterned fabric last year and bought a yard for a someday-project... do you do that too?
Last week I pulled it out of my fabric stash and used it to recover two faded outdoor pillows that needed some refreshing!
These DIY Autumn Pillows are very quick and easy to make and are perfect to add a touch of fall to your outdoor seating.
I used the tutorial found in this Ballard Inspired DIY Pillow post to make these removeable envelope pillow covers:
1 yard of outdoor fabric (or amount required to recover the size of pillows you want to recover)
See this post Ballard Inspired DIY Pillow for instructions to make an envelope pillow cover.
This is a really easy pillow cover to sew! Try making just one and you will be recovering all the pillows you have to update your home for the seasons!
So share: Do you buy fabric to 'stash' for some-day projects too?
