Apothecary Jars are not only beautiful on their own, with their sparkle of glass, curvy shapes and final tops…
…but when they’re filled they are also a great way to add color, texture and seasonal decor to a room!
Today I’m sharing my Spring Apothecary Jar Decor:
I’m in love with this beautiful Spring Apothecary Jar Decor Idea!
These two beautiful apothecary jars sit on my kitchen island and each season I love to fill them with some sort of decor to add interest and color.
(Looking for apothecary jars? You can find similar apothecary jars here.)
Recently I bought 2 bags of Spring vase filler that not only had a gorgeous grey color but also contained these pretty Spring eggs and nests.
I added one bag of vase filler to each apothecary jar adding the nest and eggs on top and voila!
I love decorating in ways that give instant gratification, do you?
The soft grey color of the dried pods and leaves highlight my kitchen wall color Sherwin Williams Mink SW 6004 (I absolutely love this paint color- it’s so rich and a great neutral!):
The adorable straw nests and white and brown speckled eggs are the perfect touch for Spring! I can remove the nests later too and leave the vase filler on it’s own, but I’ll probably add some of my shell collection for summer.
(For the fall I love to fill my apothecary jars with pumpkin and gourd decor! See my Apothecary Jar Fillers: Fall and Halloween Ideas)
I’m so excited that Spring is finally here!
Do you decorate with Apothecary Jars? What types of decor do you fill them with?

They’re beautiful, Heather. Love the nests & eggs!
I made the mistake once of filling my jar with some beautiful stones. I guess it was just too much weight & the jar actually cracked. Live & learn, as they say 🙂

So gorgeous! I wish we had more spaces in our home for straight decor items – we’re very limited in our surface space.

So pretty! I have a smaller version of this that I only put out at Easter for some reason. I love the idea of filling them up for the season you’re in.

Heather,
Gorgeous apothecary jar Seasonal display, dear one!!!
LOVE Sherwin~Williams paints!
I’m going to check out the shade Mink on my next visit!
I decorate my apothecary jars with a variety of accessories.
Currently I have pieces of ribbon and vintage threads inside.
I’ll be watching for the addition of your shells against the soft muted gray hues!
Fondly,
Pat
