Chocolate Toffee Bark Candy

A delicious sweet, salty, crunchy, and chocolatey dessert or snack recipe! A fabulous food gift idea too!

Ingredients

  • 50 unsalted crackers
  • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 6 oz semisweet or milk chocolate chips

Instructions

  • Arrange crackers on a parchment lined cookie sheet to cover surface. Be sure to use Parchment Paper NOT Waxed Paper!!!
  • In saucepan bring butter and sugar to a rolling boil over medium heat stirring constantly.
  • Pour over crackers.
  • Back at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 10-15 minutes until browned and bubbling.
  • Remove form oven.
  • Sprinkle on the chocolate chips.
  • Let stand 5 minutes and run fork through chocolate to decorate if desired.
  • Cool.
  • Refrigerate for 30 minutes and break into pieces to serve.
