Hello friends! Today I’m sharing a fun Christmas Lights at Night mini home tour to give you a peek at my home lit up at night for the holidays! This is a new adventure for me to be honest – photographing at night – and I’m so excited to share my photos with you! I’m also joining my friend Rachel of Maison de Pax and 24 other talented bloggers who are sharing their holiday homes at night too! (the full Christmas Night Tour list is at the bottom of the post).
One thing I’ve always loved since I was a little girl is to gaze and admire Christmas lights twinkling at night. Isn’t there just something so magical about the glow of night time lights on the tree and garland on the staircase? The twinkle of candles in lanterns or mantel… white lights, colorful lights….. it’s all just so peaceful to me!
Here are some of my photos of my night time holiday home- I hope you like them!! Some of them didn’t turn out – turns out taking photographs at night is challenging! Some were blurry, or just too dark to see anything. But I love trying new things and I did learn a lot while taking these photographs so I know if I keep trying, I will become better at it!

Here is shot of a niche we have just past our entryway. I decorated it with a candle and boxwood filled lantern, pillar flameless candles on timers and some gorgeous mercury glass pine cone lights. Isn’t it pretty at night?
I love my new pencil Christmas tree in our dining room – especially how the silver and gold metallic Christmas ornament glimmer and shimmer at night!
Our white Christmas tree in our living room is our main tree – and boy – what a stunning glow it gives at night! If you ever get the chance to buy a white Christmas tree you’ll love how the white branches magnify the white lights at night!
I love basically anything that’s glam, glittered and has shine…… so many of my Christmas ornaments are glittery and metallic. Love how they sparkle and glow at night!
The outside of our home is my favorite place to admire our Christmas lights at night! We add white lights to the eavestrough and cedars out front. I also have our entryway lit up with lighted pine garland around the door, lanterns with candles on timers and our beautiful urns lit with uplights placed in the middle of the urns!

Gorgeous! The house simply glows with holiday cheer. And you even have a dusting of snow!! It’s raining here today, so the chances of a white Christmas are probably 0%. Merry Christmas.

Beautiful Heather!! So cozy and warm and inviting -and I love the skiff of snow on the ground. We had snow here for about a day and then it was promptly rained away. {typical wet coast}. Wishing a very Merry Christmas to you and yours!!

I’m so jealous of the light dusting of snow on your front porch, Heather. 😉 Lovely tour! Photographing at night was a big challenge for me too and I ran into a lot of problems. Definitely a learning experience. Yours turned out so pretty though! Hope you have a great Christmas!
