When the days become shorter and the temperatures begin to dip lower I always have the urge to bring some warmth back into my home.
A few weeks ago I packed away my summer decor and my shell collections and started decorating my home for autumn.
The first place I always start to redecorate is my mantel!
Sparkle and Shine Fall Mantel Decor:
My decor style is a mixture of rustic and glam. I love to combine natural decor elements with rich wood tones as well as sparkle and shine using mirrors and metallics!
I love these mercury glass pumpkins and candlesticks!
These crystal votives look so pretty when I light the candles at night:
Copper colored mums for a pop of rich fall color:
DIY Zinc Leaf Garland: The shimmer and shine is so beautiful…It really does look like zinc! You won’t believe the before picture of this faux leaf garland- I’ll post the tutorial soon!
Close up of the DIY zinc acorns:
Easy fall decorating tip: fill a clear vase with white beans, drop in a votive candle and voila!
I’m completely smitten with these sparkly birch bark candles!
I added some pheasant feathers to add a rustic touch!
Pewter Military mug of my hubby’s filled with dried oak leaves! Fabulous texture for free!
What can I say about my glam mirror??? It’s one of my most favorite decor buys ever!
Our living room is such a great place to curl up to read or watch a bit of TV…I love to cuddle up in our leather club chairs with this throw and a cup of hot chocolate, turn on the fireplace and watch the flicker of firelight at night!
I hope you enjoyed my Sparkle and Shine Glam Fall Mantel!
