Heather SettingforFour
Hi! I'm Heather, mom of two boys (a tween and a teen) and a military wife with a passion for interior design, decorating on a budget, crafting and DIYing.
I've been married for 23 years (wow!) to my best friend, an amazing husband and father, an Infantry Army soldier, whom I am so proud of!
Desert Combat Boots - Hubby has been deployed twice to Afghanistan
I am Canadian and currently living in beautiful Ottawa Ontario Canada. I lived in Virginia, USA for three years (2010-2012) so I also consider myself an 'honorary' American!
Back in the day, I worked as a Microbiologist in the Research and Development field and now am a Stay At Home Mom raising my kids fulltime and learning how to blog.
If you'd like to get to know me better, grab a cup of coffee, get comfortable and read this post "In the Bloglight" to learn the real nitty gritty of how and why I started blogging...Whew! What a journey it's been!
From a career in this:
To this!
I love HGTV, crafting, DIY'ing and bargain shopping. TJ Maxx, Target, Homesense and Michaels are stores I visit often. I love shoes, accessories, lipgloss and workout gear.
I try to workout 4-5 days a week at my local gym...weight training and cardio.
This blog is my journey into building great friendships, connecting with my readers, sharing my DIY's, as well as admiring all the talent and beautiful homes that is out there in blogland!
Thanks for stopping by!! I love all of your comments and hello's!
