Dress up boring white napkins with stylish buttons! Quick and easy DIY Gold Button Napkins – great gift idea! Great way to use antique buttons too!
What do you do when your local fabric store is having a 50% off store closing sale?? Buy fancy buttons and make button napkins!
I love using white napkins at my table, even with my kids (they can be bleached!….the napkins, not the kids!) but white napkins can be a little boring on their own.
So I decided to dress up some white hotel napkins with some beautiful gold buttons to add some shine and style!
Buttons – I used a variety of pretty oversized gold ones!
White Napkins – like these 17” white napkins
These embellished napkins are so easy and quick to make! Just sew one button to the corner of a napkin and you’re done! It only took me a few minutes to do up 6 of them!
These oversized gold buttons are so pretty! I love them with my gold flower napkin rings!
These gold napkin rings would look fabulous too!
Here’s a ‘hammered’ gold button version:
These napkins would look gorgeous with vintage buttons or your favorite color!
I can’t wait to use them for outdoor dining on my deck…when the weather eventually warms up here!
These Button Napkins would make an excellent gift idea – Mother’s Day is just around the corner! Make up a set of 6 or 8 quickly and easily for a pretty Handmade Mother’s Day gift that Mom will love!
