Do you decorate your home for winter?
After all of the pretty Christmas décor is packed away, I like to bring some simple winter décor ideas into my home!
Here are 5 Winter Décor Tips:
1. A Faux Fur Pillow adds a cozy touch to a room:
I cut up a rectangular faux fur body pillow cover (from Target) to make 2 smaller pillows.
2. Knitted Pillows add texture:
Pottery Barn
3. Sparkly Branch Centerpiece in ‘Snow’:
Last week I added this DIY Sparkly Branch Centerpiece to turn a wall niche near my entryway into a winter wonderland!
(This would be a great idea for a winter wedding/winter party as well!)
I love this simple touch of wintery nature and how the crystal drops sparkle in the light!

4. Birch Logs:

5. A Cuddly Winter White Throw:
I knit this many years ago, it’s so soft and cozy!

I do decorate for winter...a little. I love all of your touches and that tree branch is lovely!
ReplyDeleteI'm loving all the Winter white! I had a nice faux fur throw once upon a time, but Kennedy stole it and now uses it every single night to sleep with. It's a little ratty from being washed over and over again. Maybe it's time for a new one! You're so lucky to have those birch logs too!
ReplyDeleteHow lucky are you to have birch branches in your own yard?! I had a birch theme last year for my winter decorating but had to fake the birch and just have pictures of birch trees. Love your other ideas also...I saw your post over at Met Monday blog party.
ReplyDeleteLove your faux fur pillows! What a great idea! I love the look of winter decorating…so warm and cozy! Have a great week.
