Spring Door Decor from Mother Nature
Hello Everyone!
I have seen all sorts of beautiful DIY spring wreaths in blog land this year. You bloggers are so creative!! I usually put a spring wreath on my front door too, but this spring I won't be putting one up....
And this is why:
I have new houseguests at chez Setting for Four.......
I really don't understand why they picked our front door....they must realize by now that 12 year old and 17 year old boys are not able to shut the door quietly! Oh Dear - those little eggs risk being scrambled!
So instead of a front door sporting a beautiful spring wreath like this:
But I just can't take my basket down now!!
I don't miss my spring wreathmuch at all ! But it's 'all good' because needless to say, watching these cuties is pretty darn exciting. My boys love to check on the nest's progress every day and I can't wait to see the babies!!!
It's like watching Wild Kingdom on my front doorstep!!
Have you ever had an unexpected visitor from Mother Nature at your home?
Update: Now there are 4 eggs!
Thanks for coming by for a visit! I'd love to hear your comments! And please, become a follower!

Styling a Sofa Table
Hello everyone! Hope you had a great weekend! Today I am sharing with you how I have styled my living room sofa table.
Having the sofa table behind our sectional in our open concept living room/kitchen really helps to define the living room area. The drawer is a handy spot to store our notepads, keys, cell phones ect. Although we have two end tables, the sofa table gives us a great spot to put our drinks on when we are snuggled up in the corner of the sectional. I love the shelf at the bottom too, perfect for storing extra pillows and decor books.
Do you have a sofa table or buffet in your space and do you find it a great space for storage too?

Chicken Lasagna Recipe
Hello everyone! I hope you had a great weekend! It was beautiful weather here - sunny and 60 degrees Fahrenheit. A very nice change!
Today I am sharing with you a very yummy recipe for Chicken Lasagna. This is so delicious! My family really loves it. I hope you will too!
Chicken Lasagna
~ Serves 8 ~
Ingredients
2 medium onions finely chopped
2 cloves garlic minced
2 Tbsp butter
1 Tbsp all-purpose flour
1 cup milk
1 x 15 oz (425 grams) carton Ricotta cheese
3 cups chopped cooked chicken. (I bake about 4-5 breasts, and use the extra for chicken salad sandwiches)
2 Tbsp milk
9 lasagna noodles cooked and drained
8 oz (227grams or 2 cups) Fontina or Monterey Jack cheese, shredded
½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
Directions
In large skillet cook onion and garlic in butter over low heat until onion is translucent.
Whisk in flour.
Stir in milk. Cook and stir until thickened and bubbly.
Stir in ricotta cheese, cooked chicken and the 2 Tbsp milk.
Place 3 lasagna noodles in bottom of buttered 3 quart rectangular baking dish.
Pour ½ of chicken mixture evenly over the lasagna noodles.
Top with 1/3 of the Fontina or Monterey Jack cheese.
Add 3 more lasagna noodles.
Top with remaining chicken mixture.
Place ½ of remaining Fontina/Monterey Jack cheese on top.
Add last 3 lasagna noodles.
Baked at 350 °F, covered for 30 minutes.
Uncover and top with remaining Fontina/Monterey Jack cheese and the Parmesan cheese.
Bake uncovered 10 minutes more.
Remove from oven. Lasagna should be lightly browned and bubbly.
Let stand 10 minutes and serve.
