This weekend I finished up this super useful and easy DIY French Label Trivet Hot Pad project. (Longest post title ever!)
I saw this beautiful Vintage French Cafe Printable at the Graphics Fairy and was inspired to make a large cork backed trivet to protect my table from the heat of large bowls and platters of hot food.
I only have small round trivets which I have to double or triple up for large platters...this large rectangular trivet will be a lot more practical!
Supplies:
1 cork backed placemat - Dollar Tree
Zinsser Bulls Eye 1-2-3 Primer spray paint in Bright White
1 Black Sharpie ultra fine point
1 pencil
Black and White photocopy of these 2 printables:

Isn't it amazing what you can make with a dollar store placemat and a Sharpie?

Hope you enjoyed the tutorial for this easy DIY French Label Trivet Hot Pad!
