.....wouldn't it be great to say to your next house guest, "You have to see my new sofa!! It's 'slub textured'!" ??
....and you and your house guest would both agree that it's the most cushy cozy sofa that you've every seen!
....or wouldn't it be great to say to your husband while rolling your eyes while smiling lovingly "But honey, $1699.00 for a sofa before taxes and shipping is a STEAL becuase it's 'slub textured'!!!!" ???
....(Really, when will men ever get it???? :D )

Slub is a fantastic word-- I get these emails from ZGallerie and almost sent it to my husband b/c of that globe candelabra is just stunning! I've got a spot for it- just need to save $$ to make it happen!! Great post!! Great taste!! love Z!

DeleteYou are so funny! I'm still not sure what "slub textured" even means, but I probably need one! We don't have Z Gallerie here, but I went to one in Arizona and drooled for a couple of hours!
ReplyDeleteHiya Heather, love your post, too funny! I just like saying the word "slub textured". Never heard of Z Gallerie so don't know if they are here in CA, but have owned "slub textured" pillows. They were a gift so didn't know the price, but as a seamstress I already knew the fabric was expensive. I own 4 1/2yds of "slub textured" (told you I love saying it) fabric in pearl white. I found it at the thrift store for $2.99 for the whole thing. Oh yeah, I said $2.99!!! I knew it was marked wrong or they didn't realize what it was so immediately paid for it and put it in my car before continue shopping. I still haven't used it as I'm not sure what I want to use it for. Maybe a skirt and vest. I can't see using that white decoratively, I have 4 grandsons under 6yrs old. *_*
